I bought this to replace a Name Brand backpack that didn't even last 1/2 through the school year. I will buy another one from this company when it's time. My son is 6 yo and has yet to even break a stitch. The material feels silky & water resistant. We have not soaked it in water to test waterproofing, but materials stay dry through a rain storm. The zippers are amazingly easy to open and close. Nice room in the pockets with some organization. Fits our lunch box and notebook needs perfectly.
