The North Face Boys' Waterproof Rain Jacket - Windproof & Warm Winter Coat for Kids Outdoor Activities, Hiking, and School

My son loves this coat because it has a hood and the inside is soft while the outside if rain proof. It feels lightweight but keeps him warm! My son is 9 and weighs 55# and is of average height for his age and I ended up having to exchange the small for a medium. The small fit but probably not for long and maybe not as nicely if he had a hoodie on under it so I opted for the medium and it fits perfect. I may even be able to get another year out of it.Really nice coat! But size up! This coat is small! I was so excited to have my son wear it and it was too small and had to return it for a bigger size, very nice coat but definitely size up!My kids are 8 and 11, between 1,37 - 1,42 cms hight and I got them different colors and the same unisex model on size M (10-12). Perfect for them. They have some room to grow in, which is good. Wash&dry perfect! Go for it. Excellent price for NF.Nice jacket!We live in an area that doesn’t get too cold. We get quite a bit of rain. This is perfect. It’s warm, but my son doesn’t overheat when he’s running around with it on.My kids hate big winter jackets so this is our compromise. They have a 10-15 minute walk to school. These are nicely lined with fleece with a straight profile. It keeps them warm. They've been wearing it on very cold days (10-15 degree F) and while I'd prefer something a little heavier for them, they seem to be doing fine with it.The coat will be great for my grandson. It looks warm and is made nice!My 5 yr old grandson LOVES this jacket. Its his favorite green color and he says its warm. It also keeps him dry in the rain.Although this was a really nice jacket the sizing is awful. We measured my grandson and this should have fit, as it was it would have fitted my 5 year old granddaughter better.Got size small for my 9yo and it fits perfect.
