My little man is pretty small for his age. We went through 3 backpacks before we found this one. Even the standard backpacks were huge on him nearly dragging to the ground. I wanted something that wouldn't hit the back of his knees while walking. He has to take a 1/2 in binder and a folder to and from school daily. It's snug but both fit into this bag with no room to spare. You have to kind of work at getting the edges into the bag but they fit! He also carries a change if clothes( shorts, shirt, underwear and socks), his flash cards, library book and his lunch box(munchkin bento box). His water bottle fits perfectly on the side. So happy I found this bag. Considering one of the other bags made for knider kids was over $40 and didn't fit his folders or anything else.Overall I'm a huge fan of this backpack. It has held up fairly well for it being a month in. The yellow has held up and we got caught in a rainstorm and his papers stayed dry (2-3 minute walk to the car). If this bag doesn't last us I won't have any problem rebuking it again bc of all the pros it has for us.Easy to open/close for preschool hands. Perfect number of pockets, not too many. I can put wipes and snacks in the front for ease. There is side pockets inside for fitting a folder and back is stiff so keeps folder from being crushed. Seems pretty durable. Design is cute.So glad I purchased. Perfect size for my 1 st grader. The workmanship and quality is way above the price I paid. ($11). Will purchase from them again for other kiddos. 100% recommend.I bought this with the matching lunch bag for my five year old to start Grade ONE and I wasn't sure what to expect. The item was delivered promptly and my son and I love everything about it. It is as pictured. It is vibrant, well made and durable. The size if perfect for him and the bag has numerous sections to cater for all his needs. If I had to find one fault, it would be that the zippers could be more child friendly. By that I mean, I've bought other bag packs for him before, and the zippers had like these rubber cartoon characters small kids can easily grab with their hands. Nevertheless, I am pleased with my purchaseThis is an adorable backpack that my 3 year old loves to carry.
